Welcome to the obligatory and awkward first blog post at The Particular Kitchen. It’s so nice of you to stop by.

This blog and, in fact, whole PROJECT, is still very much a baby. She needs a bit more time to grow up and get started on basic motor skills. So bear with me as it may be slow goin’s at first.

Things to look forward to:

  • a beautiful logo and theme
  • posts and photos documenting my successes and failures in the kitchen
  • lessons learned along the way
  • tips and tricks for adapting recipes to fit with your (my) allergies
  • notes on healthy habits

At the moment, I’ve got my first EVER batch of almost-vegan cupcakes baking in the oven. They smell and look delicious. I’ll keep you updated on how they turn out and share my recipe and method soon, I promise!
