a quick update from our hotel room in paris – right near the pantheon, just fyi. I’m ENGAGED!!!!!
phil proposed yesterday afternoon in the jardin de luxembourg. it was a total shock and i couldn’t really form any complete sentences for about an hour afterwards! but i’m absolutely thrilled and feel so unbelievably lucky. we celebrated all day with a bottle of prosecco (which he snuck in with him!) and admiring the ring. he designed it himself with the jeweller – a diamond and 2 sapphires on a platinum band. (crappy iPhone pic below doesn’t do it justice…)
